Japan TDnet Disclosures is the feed of timely-disclosure filings on TDnet, the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s disclosure network — earnings flashes (kessan tanshin), forecast revisions, buyback progress reports, officer changes. Japan is the market in this family that classifies every row: each disclosure carries TDnet’s own category, and earnings releases link both the original PDF and the XBRL numbers.

What You Can Use Japan Disclosures For

Track a Japanese company’s earnings flash and forecast revisions the day they are filed — Japanese guidance lives in this channel, not on IR pages. Follow buyback execution through the monthly buyback_progress reports. Pull the XBRL numbers behind an earnings flash directly rather than parsing the PDF.

Japan Disclosure Coverage

The feed is a rolling recent window, not an archive; the per-market start date is measured in the response’s coverage block. The feed ingests twice daily around the Tokyo disclosure windows.

Key Japan Disclosure Fields

Each row carries the disclosure date, the title as filed (Japanese, untranslated), TDnet’s category, filing_url (the original PDF), and — for earnings releases — xbrl_url, the structured numbers. The category vocabulary is TDnet’s own: earnings_flash, earnings_forecast_revision, earnings_presentation, ma, buyback, buyback_progress, officer_change, dividend_revision, equity_comp, governance, growth_plan, special_items, and more — the same families the company screen serves under event_source=japan_tdnet. Because only Japan publishes a category, filtering on category excludes Taiwan and Korea rather than returning them unfiltered.

Japan Disclosure Date Convention

The disclosure date is the TDnet filing date, Tokyo time. Earnings flashes cluster around the quarterly reporting windows; forecast revisions can land any day, and are the Japanese market’s primary guidance event — the guidance ledger ingests Japanese guidance from this door.

Japan Disclosure Sources

Rows come from TDnet, the exchange’s timely-disclosure network. A foreign private issuer may furnish some of the same announcements to the SEC on Form 6-K, so the two feeds can overlap; TDnet is the earlier and more complete channel.
