Raw News Interface (raw stream)

The Raw news interface (stream: "raw") is everything, uncollapsed: one message per arriving item, in contrast with the Events interface’s one-per-revision. If the Events interface says “earnings beat, guidance raised”, this interface has the nine underlying items that conclusion was based on.

Fields

field	meaning
`kind`	`news`, `form_filing` (SEC filings: 8-Ks and deal forms), `guidance`, `dividend`, or `filing_8k` (insider Form 4 rows). A single event mixes kinds — a real earnings event is wire stories + the 8-K + guidance rows, all under one `event_id`.
`id`	`kind:` plus the source’s own primary key — never a row number, never a timestamp. Re-runs, backfills and out-of-order delivery all dedupe on it. Composite keys join with `\|` (a filing key is `accession\|cik`: co-filed forms are two rows about two different subjects).
`event_id`	The event this item belongs to — the join key to the Events interface.
`triggered_revision`	Which merged revision this item caused, or `null` if it changed no conclusion. This is how you answer “what was that conclusion based on”.
`labels`	The item’s own `[family, subtype]` pairs, in the same vocabulary as everything else — see Event labels.
`at` + `time_basis` + `time_precision`	When — and by whose clock: `published`, `filing_accepted`, or `stated`. A publisher’s stamp and the SEC’s acceptance time are different claims; the basis travels with every timestamp so you never mix them silently.
`detail`	The source’s own fields, whitelisted per kind — a guidance row’s value text and a dividend’s amount are deliberately not flattened into one shared column, because they are not comparable.
`detail.occurred_on` / `announced_lag_days`	Filings only: when the thing happened vs. when it was announced. A company signs on Friday and files on Monday — “what happened last week” and “what was announced last week” are different questions, and this is what lets you ask either.

One deliberate absence: no article text. Title, labels, why and the link are the content — the payload never redistributes an outlet’s own words; the article is one click away on link. Where an item carries impacts, those are this system’s reading of it, same as on the Events interface — attribute them to FocusAlpha, never to the publisher.
