Screening companies by positioning filters on who is long, short, buying and selling: exchange-reported short interest, open-market insider activity from SEC Form 4, the directors-and-officers stake and CEO pay from the proxy statement, and the Taiwan-specific foreign-ownership and revenue axes. Each measure carries its own coverage boundary, stated below, because filtering on any of them silently drops every company the measure does not reach.

The Short-Interest Filters

number
Short interest as a percent of float; _lte sets the ceiling. US-only, settled twice a month — see Short Interest.
number
Short interest over average daily volume.

The Insider Filters

string
buying or selling: net open-market Form 4 activity over 90 days, US filers. Counts purchase and sale codes only — grants, option exercises and tax withholding are compensation mechanics, not decisions, and are deliberately excluded. See Insider Trades.
number
The directors-and-officers group stake from the latest proxy, 0–100; _lte sets the ceiling. Null for dual-class filers whose proxy states it per share class — those never match. See Proxy Ownership.
number
Latest-proxy CEO total compensation floor in USD; _lte sets the ceiling. Annual, US proxy filers. See Executive Compensation.

The Taiwan Filters

number
Foreign ownership percent of a Taiwan listing, 0–100; _lte sets the ceiling. See Taiwan Foreign Ownership.
number
Latest monthly revenue YoY percent — Taiwan’s monthly revenue disclosure, an axis that exists in no other market. _lte sets the ceiling.

Every Positioning Filter Is Also a Coverage Filter

Short interest is US-only and twice-monthly. Insider activity is US Form 4. Proxy measures cover US proxy filers, annually. The tw_* columns are Taiwan listings. Filtering on any of these silently drops every company the dimension does not reach; the response’s coverage block states each boundary, and the free facets endpoint counts each population.
