Operating Metrics & KPIs holds the operating metrics a company printed in its earnings release — units, prices, store counts, same-store sales, backlog, bookings, subscribers, rent per square foot — and every other number in it: each cell of each table and each figure in the text. Each row is one figure, carrying where it was printed — the table title, the row label and the rows above it, the column header, or the sentence — together with what it is: the metric, the segment, the basis and the period.

What You Can Use It For

Read the parts of a release the headline figures leave out: the segment and product-line tables, the KPI pages (units, prices, store counts, same-store sales, backlog, bookings, subscribers), the non-GAAP reconciliation line by line, the statements and cash flow as printed, and the guidance tables. Reported Earnings Figures keeps the handful of figures a reader looks at first; this dataset is the whole document.

Start With the Table of Contents

Call the route with only the company and you get the release’s table of contents: every table with its title and type, the segments it names, the most-printed metrics and the periods it covers. Then ask for figures:

One Row Per Figure

A number printed in the summary table, the income statement and a sentence comes back once, from its finest printing — a table cell before a rounded sentence — and mentions says how many places printed it. Pass evidence=true for every printing.
Two different values under one metric are both returned and never merged. They are different lines — Net income beside Net income -- TTM in one column, Average assets beside Total assets — so read row_label, row_path, col_header and table_title before treating two rows as the same figure.

Read These Before Using a Number

As Printed on the Day, and Restated Beside It

value is the figure the release printed that day. When the company later gave the same quarter another figure, both versions are kept: the restated one sits beside the printed one, with where it came from. Quote value for what the market saw on the day; use the restated figure or the Financial Statements to compare across periods. The restated version is attached to the headline figures checked against the company’s filings — revenue, operating income, net income, gross profit and diluted EPS.

Coverage

Most S&P 500 companies and, for nearly all of them, every quarterly earnings release filed since January 2025 — seven quarters by October 2026. The layer is not yet updated daily: a release filed after coverage.available_to has not been read yet, so the newest quarter can be missing here while Reported Earnings Figures already has its headline figures. Releases filed only as PDF are not read. Read the coverage block on the response for the current count and date range. For other companies and earlier quarters, Reported Earnings Figures holds the headline figures of far more releases.
